This shapefile provides the APN of parcels that contain areas that
could be defined as Special Landscaped Area, and are not
classed as residential use. This was done through a visual scan
of the San Dieguito service area.
This serves as a rough first approximation of the area irrigated by
each SLA DIM, which can be used to calculate a first
approximation of the total area of landscape irrigated by SLA
DIMs in SDWD. Multiplying the percent irrigated for each parcel
by the total area of the parcel and summing this value results in
an approximate total irrigated area of SLAs of 34,506,223 sq.
